I am experimenting with writing a custom action and have added it. The problem is that the first import was incorrect and I cannot seem to remove it. The second import created an identically-named entry. How can I remove the first?

I have a problem. I have a workflow for new employees. At the End of the workflow i set a schedule to the entry date is set in the form.
Now it can happen that a employee workflow is startet at the date or after, the employee begins to work. For example: entry date is 2013-02-01 and Workflow is startet at 2013-02-15.
At the schedule i start another workflow with a ldap query. The ldap query search for the user in the active directory and write the mail adress in a variable.
But when the user do not exist at this time the workflow get an error and stop.
How can i configure it, that the workflow goto next step when the user do not exist in active directory?

NW forms discarding default value column setting
Hi,
We take a choice column, the setting "default value" is empty. When generating the NW form, this default value is discarded. The form selects the first value of the field. It should be empy!
Is this by design?

How to build a dynamic email content of Item URL and Title
We are building an Incident tracking system, each week the facility manager will get an email that provides a coma separated list of open Item URLs so they can click on the link to see the form.
I am looping through each facility, selecting the active incidents, and looping throught the incidents.
How do I build a summary list of the Item URLs to display in the email body so the manager can just click on the ID (kind of a Click Here link, but one for each incident).

New workflow updates trigger Modified wf
Still a newbie... hoping this is somthing simple.
I've created two list workflows. One is for new items, and gathers info to build a string for the Title, then after an approval task, it updates the title field.
As soon as that title field updates, it triggers my "Modified" wf to begin, when I obviously do not want this to happen. I have searched through this site, and thought I had found some settings that would be useful, but those appear to be for site workflows only.
I'm spinning my wheels trying to think of what conditional start options I could set so it will IGNORE this title field change, but not ignore other changes made by the creator of the item. It seems there should be something that prevents a workflow from initiating simply because of an update made by anther workflow. Right?

How to: Build a Nintex Workflow for so many documents in SharePoint 2010 ?
Hi Forum,
As newbie in Nintex Workflow, I need your help to accomplish a task in SharePoint 2010.
The Case: Precisely and concisely, My client has a huge SharePoint 2010 Intranet and Nintex Workflow 2010 installed. The client has so many document libraries that are associated with a custom content type, and these document libraries have a specific Yes-No custom column e.g. let's call it: (Old).
The Requirement: The client wants every document which the value of its custom column (Old) is: "Yes" to be moved to a newly created library called: "Old Documents", and removed from the site.
In other words, If the document property (Old) => "Yes", then,
1) The document has to be moved to a new document library named "Old Documents".
2) The document has to be removed from the site.
Well, I have manually created the new document library "Old Documents", But I am struggling and I cannot figure out how to implement this requirement using Nintex Workflow.
I thought of developing a custom timer job in SharePoint that runs periodically to check the property (Old) for all the documents and do the needed changes, But the client insists that I must use Nintex Workflow.
So, Could you please help me out to implement this using Nintex Workflow?

Mail Attachment in "Send Notification" Action

CASE 1:
I was trying to attach a .zip/.msg file thru Nintex "Send Notification" Option. The Zip file is in SiteAssets. I am just providing the URL to resolve it by its own, and its happening. My problem is when user receives the mail he is not able to see any attachments. Whereas if I attach a ppt file from the same location is working fine.Can you please help me on this ?
CASE 2:
I tried CASE 1 Several times but it was not working. So i put a thought - lets unzip and send it. So i created a doc file and put it in site assets. I just attached the file along with a ppt file. So altogether there are two attachments in my Mail. But when user receives the mail, he gets only one attachment. Surprisingly the document file is missing. can anyone please help me on this.

Hello,
Hoping someone out there can help... noticing these errors in the Front-End server app log several times per day, no consistent pattern though. I opened the NWLOnlineComponents.ascx file in Notepad++ and it seems to be part of Nintex Workflow Live, which we do not have installed as part of our Nintex Workflow 2010 implementation. I would say I'm a novice in the Nintex world, so not sure if this error is a big deal or something that can be ignored if we're not going to be using Nintex Workflow Live. Either way, hoping someone has some information as to what might be causing it, thanks much!

Potential bug in "Execute SQL" action for Oracle databases?
While on-site training a group of developers how to use Nintex last week, we saw some very strange behaviour from the "Execute SQL" action while talking to Oracle, and I just wanted to find out if it's a known bug or not...
It was a simple workflow, running a SELECT, returning three text columns from Oracle. The columns were being captured into collection variables, that were then being looped through later in the workflow. Although the SELECT statement ran fine in the "Run Now" feature of the "Execute SQL" action, at runtime it only populated the first collection variable.
After playing around with it a bit, we discovered that renaming columns using aliases in the SELECT statement caused the missing data to appear, but not all the time.
Interestingly, I simulated the exact same conditions in SQL Server, and it worked perfectly every time.
Has anybody else seen this ?

Entering multiple People (email) in a form for a notification workflow
I am encountering some small issues with design of a specific workflow.
I am designing a workflow that sends a notification. The user needs to fill in Multiple people in a first dialog box (people in AD, SharePoint ..)
When I use the iNFOPATH form option and try to add more than one person I get the message “You are only allowed to enter one item”.
How can I enter multiple people here ?

Notification WF does not send email
Hello,
I have a notification workflow in which I enter (manually through a form) an email addres. I can select the person with the people picker but no email seems to be sent from Nintex. I am using an exchange server and I can manually send and receive emails to that person.
Is there anything additional I should configure in Nintex for Exhange use ?

Create new item Issue
Hello,

When using the "create new item - Content type : xxxx" issue .. I create a document of a specific content type which has a template defined for it. When I create such a document (content type) with "New" directly from the library, the document is ok and uses the correct template.
However when Nintex craetes the document in a workflow, the document shows up in the library but the contect is not readable : "The file cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents" - No detail avalailble
Any ideas what might be wrong ?

How can you include the contents of a list item's attachments folder in an email?
Due to a change in customer requirements, I suddenly need to send an email with a copy of the documents which were attached to a list item (Sharepoint 2010). I've already got a list of the items due to the need to put links to them individually on a custom task form, but I can't see how to add them to a notification action.
In http://connect.nintex.com/forums/thread/27805.aspx Vadim says you'd have to fudge a switch action, which is fine, but how would you move the collection of attachment URLs into individual variables on the notification?
e.g. folder has five files in, so how would you seperate each file url into a variable to reference in the notification attachment?
