I have a workflow that goes through many Approvers and Reviewers, however if the form is sent back for Changes it has to route again (same workflow, different messaging) AND if, after final approval it needs an Amount Change, again it goes through same approval workflow but different messaging. The way I have it set up currently seems very redundant as there are 3 separate branches in one workflow that all have the same actions and participants just different messaging. There has got to be a better way to do this. IDEAS?

Problem creating a document with a especific content type from Nintex worflow 2010
My scenario is a sharepoint 2010 SP1 with Nintex 2010 (2.3.10.0). I have a Nintex worflow in 'library A' that creates a document in 'library B'. In library B, I have 2 content types (DocA 'default' and DocB), that have almost the same fields. When I use an action in Nintex worflow (library A) to create the docB in destiny, this always create a DocA ... and the Workflow stops with error.
How I can handle this error? why the action for create don't create the correct content type, what's the correct way to do troubleshooting?

Date Picker Control CSS Class not working
I am trying to change the color of a date picker control. I've been successful in setting up a CSS style that uses the background-color I want and applying it to a text control by using the class in the Control CSS Class field in the control settings. But the same process doesn't work for a date field. It seems to ignore whatever's in the Control CSS Class. I've used "Inspect element" in IE to look at the source for each control, and the text control shows the applied CSS style, but the date control doesn't.
Is there another way to change the color of a date picker input area?

Unable to publish workflow Object reference not set to an instance of an object
I have just installed SharePoint 2013 with Nintex Form & Workflow 2013.
When I create a new Resusable workflow, I can save it but not publish it.
I got this error message:
soap:ServerServer was unable to process request ---> Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
My workflow is very simple, only an email sending.
For you information, I also got an error message when I publish a form, but the form is well published.

Bug with Workflow Cancelled email.
Hi.
Was just made aware of a really minor bug with the workflow cancelled email notification. More specifically there is an inconsistency in the way cancelled is spelt. In the subject it is spelt as "cancelled" in the body it is spelt as "canceled".

Check whether People Picker field is empty
Dear all,
I have a problem to check whether a people picker field is empty or not since I want to make a custom validation with javascript function. I can not set this field as required field since I want this is field is required only when some conditions are applied. I tried to put alert on every condition in the javascript function and I get a fact that if (NWF$.trim(commentText) == "") just doesn’t work with people picker type. I have attached my form so it can be reviewed. Thank you very much for your help!

Hiding approver comments from search results
Hi,
A customer of mine has a list that uses a Nintex workflow for approval. As part of the approval process, a column called Approver Comments is populated with comments when a list item is approved.
When I look in the list settings for the list - I can't see an Approver Comments column anywhere. I have seen in "Site Columns" a column under the Nintex Workflow group a column called ApproverComments. I assume this is the column I'm seeing in the list and that it is Nintex Workflow that is putting it there.
On the customer site, when a search returns results that included items from the above list, the Approver comments are included in the search results. My customer does not want this, so I have been trying to find a way to remove this metadata from the search results. It looks as though the Nintex Workflow site columns do not have associated managed properties however, and so I can't remove them from search results.
Is there a way I can remove the Approver Comments from the search results at all?

Failed to invoke web service. Error returned from server: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.
I'm trying to execute the "Call web service" action by using Web Url/_vti_bin/UserGroup.asmx web service but
I cannot populate the "Web Method" dropdownlist after clicking the "Refresh" button.
I keep getting the error "Request failed with status: Unauthorized." for a particaular user. But the same webservice works fine for
my credentials.
(Both users are site collection administrators in the same site and it was worked without error until yesterday).
It happens from today for several instances. When I run the workflow for the user who got error, workflow also gets error as below:

What could be the reason?

Validation for Required Comment in Flexy Task Form Created with Nintex Forms Not Working
Hi All,
I was creating a flexy task form in Nintex Workflow, which outcome is Approve and Reject. For Reject outcoume, the comment is a required field. When using default nintex workflow form, the validation works just great. Everytime the user select reject and not entering comment, he will receive error message when clicking Complete Task button.
However this is not working when the form is created using Nintex Forms. Has someone already have this issue? Or is there any solution for this besides adding javascript validation?

Initiator can choose multiple approvers
Hello :)
Is it possible to modifiy the Workflow so, that the initiator before he starts the Workflow, can chose in a list or type in different approvers?
for example:
Initiator selects Document and want to start Workflow-> Befor the Initiator press "Start" he should have the possible to select from AD-Group or Share-point-list different Approvals. -> So every selected Approvals is now in the Workflow.

Calling Web Services in Claims Based Authentication using Windows Authentication

In my SharePoint 2013 envoironment I've got one web application. On this web application I've configured Windows (NTML) Authentication as well as Forms Based Authentication (in the same zone). When I'm trying to call a Web Service using with my Windows Account (Full Control Permissions) I receive a 403 Forbidding error.
How can I solve this problem?

Date issue
Hello, I'm very new to Nintex and I'm running into a problem when trying to query a date. I'm using the following syntax to get uptime for the server:
select login_time
from sys.dm_exec_sessions
where session_id = 1
I know there are other queries I could use but this one works well. My next step is to put the result from the query into a variable for storage. Next I want to then write the result to a SharePoint page & column. The problem is I'm seeing the following result posted: 1/1/0001 12:00:00 but if I run the above query directly on the server I get what you would expect, the time showing when the server was started.
What am I doing wrong?

How to count unique items within a list item
Hello,
I have created 2 lists and workflows in able for our users to book courses. The first form/workflow is for the Manager to be able to set up courses that are available to our end users. The second form is for the end users to choose from the courses created in the first list and book course that are avialble. I am trying to add some type of a count that calculates once each course hits 15 bookings. I can get a count to work but it calculates all of the items in the list. Becuase there are many courses available I want it to be able to do the calculation for each unique item in the list column. Any ideas?

I have some SharePoint List items and I want to calculate the time duration in which the list items get the status change.
How do I do that through Nintex? I tried to use Calculate date but it didn't allow to capture time.

Auto-Notify Embedded Image Not Downloaded by Outlook
Hello!
I have embedded an image in an auto-notify email, everything looks in order in Nintex. I then view the email sent within Outlook and the image has to be right-clicked to be downloaded and viewed.
Is there a way to load in the image into the auto-notify such that it by-passes the privacy security features in Outlook?

Help Text on Managed Metadata field
Hi there,
The form I am currently working on contains managed metadata fields that also require some help text (the text that appears when you hover over the field). What I have noticed is that the help text I insert into the control settings does not appear when hovering over the field in edit mode, rather I just get "Add terms" text instead.
Is this behaviour a bug, and if so are there any timelines on when this will be fixed?

Formatting repeating section column into a readable format
Hi,
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to format repeating section data into a more readable format in the list view and version history? The only thing I can think of is to parse the XML to extract it to separate columns, either using workflow or JavaScript. But that approach still leaves you with a field with ugly XML in the version history, as well as the ability for end users to display the column in the list (even if it's hidden from all your public views).
Would really appreciate thoughts on the best way to approach this dilemma.

NF2010. "Date/Time control" - HowTo shows the first day of week as Monday instead of Sunday

I have quick question regarding Nintex Forms 2010 because I can’t find an answer.
Do you know how to change “Date/Time control” to show in calendar preview the first day of week as Monday instead of Sunday?
By default Nintex is showing Sunday as first day of week. On the same site I have another list with default SharePoint form and week is starting from Monday.
Site regional settings are set as below:
Define Your Work Week / First day of week: Monday
Google shows some part of sentence from NF2010_version_history.pdf, but can’t find this info in document:
The first day of the week in a Date control is now synched with the site's (..)
Any support would be more than welcome.

Paue For & Pause Until Activity - Not functioning as expected
Hi,
Could someone help me with "Pause For" & "Pause Until" activity in nintex workfow
I used both the activity (Separately) in my workflow, I found that these activities works fine only for few workflows and later it start giving error. when I reset "SharePoint Timer service", it starts again but again for few workflows.
it gives me an error , "workflowName failed to run". when i check "View workflow History", I see that the workflow is stuck on "Pause For" or "Pause Until" Activity.
help me please.
