Is it possible (or supported) to make a SOAP call using custom JavaScript to either an .asmx?WSDL or a .udcx inside a data connection library to retrieve ERP data based on the current user filling out a Nintex Form to populate a dropdown list box with options that are only available to the current user? Upon dropdown selection, one or more single-line text boxes would be populated as well.
We have tested this scenario in InfoPath 2013 through use of its Data Connection Wizard but we would prefer to provide this functionality within a form using Nintex Forms 2013. So far I have not found information specific to either NF2010 or NF2013 that either provides examples of how this is done or whether or not it is even supported.
I appreciate any assistance you can provide.
