I am having a problem with the ‘Reminder’ for items when using the Nintex workflow.
We need to compare the date of the reminder to today’s date.
If today’s date is after the reminder date he needs to send out a reminder to the person.
If today’s date is before the reminder date he does not need to send out the reminder.
For example, when the reminder date is put on 11/4, he needs to start sending reminders as of 11/4 but not before this date.
Right now we are using a site workflow to do this.
We start with a query on the list to make him compare the date of the reminder to today’s date. After this we use a ‘for each’ so that he can send the notification to each item that has a reminder date after today.
Problem is that he does not send the reminder at any time because he cannot find the correct ID’s for which he has to send the reminder. We think it might be the problem that he is not comparing the dates in a correct way.
To try and avoid this I have also made a column in the list where he converts the date to another format and use this one. It does not work either.
So to summarize, we want that on the items, when the reminder date is past today’s date that the system sends out an email automatically to remind the person that he needs to finish the action.
Is there anybody who has a solution to this problem?
