Hyperlink length limit

Hi everybody,

we know about the Sharepoint limit about the hyperlink length of 255 characters.

With a "build string" action, I created an url pointing directly in the workflow history page, using common variables kind of "web url", "list id" and other stuffs. The url length results more than 255 chars.

So when I was tring to put this string in a hyperlink site column with a "set field value" action, the workflow stops, got error and crashes.

Does anybody know any other solution?
