I have a fairly complicated recruitment workflow which initiates child workflows for each stage of the process. Flexi tasks and standard Sharepoint tasks are created within these workflows, with each workflow pointing to a seperate task list. My users want the Sharepoint task lists to display some columns including recruiting manager, request reference, role title etc, and this is easy to do passing data to custom content type To Do tasks.
The problem is, that while I can create a custom content type from the Nintex flexi task, and even select it as the task type in the Assign Flexi Task config window, I can't find any way to set the columns' values. The only option I can see at the moment is to put a workflow in each task list which queries back to the initiating recruitment form to pull out the data, am I missing something obvious here?
