I have a Assign To-do Task workflow that is set up to end on the escalation date (30 days). I need to end the workflow sooner because we have to move on without waiting for the remaining tasks to complete. I tried to update the item due date in the midstream of the workflow, but that did not do anything to the pending tasks, they are still showing as "Not Started" and the workflow status is still "In progress". Deleting the pending tasks did not advance the workflow to escalation either. Is it possible to stop the workflow while retaining all task records created by the workflow? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
