Completely remove Nintex Workflow from SharePoint Farm

I have followed instruction to remove Nintex Workflow that I found at this link

http://www.google.co.nz/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=remove%20nintex%20workflow%20from%20central%20admin%20database&source=web&cd=3&ved=0CEkQFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fconnect.nintex.com%2Ffiles%2Ffolders%2F13037%2Fdownload.aspx&ei=ZOYCUoSMOKiuiQes5IGgAQ&usg=AFQjCNF6pRzfyucUTuvmtEDSd74QvL-TyQ

However this results in Missing server side dependencies errors on the server.

For example:

[MissingFeature] Database [AdminContentDB] has reference(s) to a missing feature: Id = [f7937973-0cf9-4f2d-a549-be2d3c25b772], Name = [Nintex Workflow Admin], Description = [Enables Nintex Workflow Administration], Install Location = [NintexWorkflowAdmin]. The feature with Id f7937973-0cf9-4f2d-a549-be2d3c25b772 is referenced in the database [AdminContentDB], but is not installed on the current farm. The missing feature may cause upgrade to fail. Please install any solution which contains the feature and restart upgrade if necessary.

As you can see there are items that rely on the feature that are not being removed from the admin content database.

Is there a supported method of removing these dependencies?
