Set variable field multiline

It's very frustrating to have only 1 line shown when setting a variable.

As we use this to concat multiple varible or use it to add html code it's not easy to edit if there somethings wrong.

copy to a notepad removes all the variables so that not really a solution.

Is there a patch available that sets this field multiline so it's a lot easier to edit?
